Refurbishment
The Works
This project entailed the refurbishment and refitting of ward spaces, involving various tasks. This included the creation of new partitions to redefine space allocation and the installation of a new sliding wall to enhance flexibility.
Additionally, the project encompassed complete redecoration to refresh the interior aesthetics, replacement of flooring for both functional and aesthetic purposes, and installation of new windows to improve natural light and ventilation. Furthermore, the works involved fitting new suspended ceilings to enhance the overall appearance and functionality, as well as the renewal of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure efficiency and safety.
Factors
Our Contracts Manager and project team collaborated closely with the client and stakeholders to comprehend their operational requirements, enabling us to plan the work around hospital functions effectively. To minimise disruption, we adopted flexible working schedules, including evening and weekend shifts. Tailoring our works program and health & safety plan to specific site factors ensured that our delivery aligned perfectly with hospital priorities. Strict infection control procedures were meticulously prepared, implemented, and documented to maintain stringent standards.
