We have completed a refurbishment of the John Dalton East building in Central Manchester on behalf of MMU, procured through our Framework Agreement. The project involved remodelling an existing ground floor education setting to accommodate a new library facility, as well as targeted localised areas across all floors to create new student study areas within a 10 week period.

The works included soft stripout, demolition of internal walls, M&E alterations, firestopping & new fire curtain installation, new ceilings and bulkheads, new flooring, decoration to all areas, installation of new signage and manifestations.

The project also offered the opportunity to design, manufacture and install new GP bespoke joinery consisting of slatted walls, bespoke desks and storage solutions.

An existing external canopy has also been refurbished to accommodate a new cladding system and illuminated signage which involved structural additions, a new roofing system and a new aluminium cladding system.
