Social Responsibility
Christmas Appeal 2023
Over 200 food hampers, accompanied by toy bags, were delivered to families, allowing them to enjoy a Christmas dinner that embodies the true spirit of the season. These food hampers were generously donated by Compassion in Action, reflecting the community's spirit of generosity and compassion. Additionally, each family received a £100 voucher, graciously provided by Wigan Council, offering them the opportunity to access additional comforts during this festive period.
Behind the scenes, Leanne dedicated considerable effort and time collaborating with various organisations, including Daffodils Dreams, Wigan & Leigh College, Wigan Council, Compassion in Action, and the Brick, to orchestrate the day's events. Their collective dedication and commitment played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of this heartwarming initiative.
While the holiday season is a time of joy and celebration for many, it's crucial to recognise that families facing hardships require support throughout the year. As we reflect on the impact of this Christmas Eve initiative, we encourage ongoing support through donations and contributions whenever feasible. Together, we can continue to uplift and strengthen our local communities, ensuring that no family is left behind.
The spirit of giving was alive and thriving this Christmas Eve as a collective effort brought joy and hope to families in need. With heartfelt gratitude, we extend our sincere appreciation to the dedicated volunteers who generously donated their time to organise and distribute Christmas hampers to those less fortunate. We also express our thanks to those who meticulously planned routes, prepared bags, and gathered donations leading up to this heartwarming event. The collaborative effort was nothing short of extraordinary, leaving a lasting impact on all involved.
Ukraine Humanitarian Aid Trips

What began as a one-off venture has blossomed into a remarkable journey of compassion, spanning six impactful trips.
Our dedicated team at has gone above and beyond, with each trip leaving a lasting impression. The expeditions involve a dedicated group of individuals, including Mike Sharkey who is the driver behind the orchestration of these trips, Andy Coley, Leanne Westcott, Molly Durkin, Meg McWhire, and Ged Tromp. These team members have played a pivotal role in the success of each mission, demonstrating a shared commitment to making a difference.
The logistics of these benevolent journeys are no small feat, requiring meticulous planning and execution. The orchestration of these missions has been led by the Office Manager, Leanne Westcott. From organising transportation logistics, to the procurement of essential products, Leanne has been the linchpin in ensuring the success of each trip.
