The Works
Wigan & Leigh College recognised the potential of virtual reality (VR) in revolutionising the education experience for students. The goal was to create a dedicated virtual reality learning space in the basement of Rushton Building on the college campus. The project aimed to provide a dynamic and immersive environment that could accommodate both traditional teaching methods and interactive VR experiences. The project encompassed several key objectives. These included the creation of a dedicated VR learning space, development of a visually engaging journey down to the VR space, design of a flexible teaching area allowing seamless transitions between VR and traditional lessons, establishment of an exciting atmosphere for students.
