By replacing 14 PL lamps on 5 rows to 7 LED lamps, the sports hall is now more energy efficient and cost reducing.

The lights can be controlled via a tablet allowing the area to be set for atmosphere: whether dimmed for users who prefer a softer light or set in a formation to create a boxing ring light system, the Leisure Centre can now work their system with ease.

The tennis courts lighting has also been updated to replicate the sports hall.
