This large dwelling had not received any upgrading work in the previous 30 years. We undertook a detailed pre-start property survey to identify conditions which would affect the specification, workflow and delivery: Asbestos, structural elements, ground conditions, existing utilities’ infrastructure. The condition issues identified were solved in advance as part of the project design.

The project included a comprehensive wrap-around single-storey extension, a complete electrical rewire, and the installation of a new central heating system. The work also encompassed fitting a new kitchen, installing three new bathrooms, and redecorating throughout the property. Additionally, new carpets and floor coverings were laid, and bespoke joinery furniture was crafted and installed to enhance the interior.

It was important to consult with the Client to understand the look and feel they wanted, as well as analysing the condition of this older property. This enabled a sympathetic project design & refurbishment solution which fully met their expectations and which could be delivered cost effectively.
