In a great collaboration with Seven Architects, the Learning Resource Centre at Wigan & Leigh College has undergone refurbishment and has been fitted with various bespoke and furniture. Works consisted of the formation of two private working rooms, 2 larger meeting spaces, decoration, flooring, a new suspended ceiling, installation of LED flat panels, feature lighting and full power & data. .

Bespoke features such as the decorative fin wall separated the different learning spaces within the LRC. A great feature of the room is the curved bookcase following the flow of the room, creating a seamless and inviting environment. This thoughtful design element not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also promotes a natural, intuitive flow for students and staff as they navigate through the learning resource center.
