Prestwich Hospital’s Chapman Barker Unit consists of 3 wards which have undergone refurbishment works in a phased approach to improve the facilities, creating a more vibrant and revitalised environment for the service users and staff.

The work involved remodelling existing areas to form new bedrooms with ensuite wet rooms, including new IPS, bespoke bedroom furniture, flooring, and decoration. All other areas including staff areas, existing bedrooms and corridors have received light refurbishment works and anti-ligature improvements.
