Factors

The project was undertaken during term time within a live environment, this meant liaising with the college to agree appropriate access and egress along with agreed segregation hoardings. Control of public nuisance such as noise and dust control were paramount to successful and safe delivery of the project. Segregated access and egress routes ensured separation of workforce from third party building users and utilisation of out of hours working were necessary for noisy demolition works ensured minimal impact on the teaching environment.
